Former FinTRACA staff in need

In August 2021 new rulers took over power in Afghanistan. As of that moment the staff of the Afghan Financial Intelligence Unit (FinTRACA) was severely at risk for obvious reasons. Almost all staff left their jobs and Afghanistan for safer places.

1. Successful relocation of a former FINTRACA staff member and family

FIUCare is very pleased to report that one former FINTRACA staff member and family have successfully relocated to a Western European country. While other organisations and individuals organised the humanitarian visa, FIUCare supported the relocation financially and the family emotionally during the difficult relocation. The family is now safe and started integrating in their new country of domicile. FIUCare is still in touch with the family

2. Financial support

Other former FINTRACA staff members are still waiting for humanitarian visa and are with very limited or event without financial support. If you would like to support them financially, you can donate here. We will ensure that any donations will reach those former FINTRACA staff members.
